If you want your life to stand for peace and kindness, it's helpful to do kind, peaceful things. One of my favorite ways to do this is by developing my own helping rituals. These little acts of kindness are opportunities to be of service and reminders of how good it feels to be kind and helpful.
I live in a rural area of Shanghai. Most of what we see is beauty and nature. One of the exceptions to the beauty is the litter that some people throw out of their windows as they are driving on the rural roads.
A helping ritual that I practice regularly is picking up litter in our surrounding areas. I’ve become so accustomed to doing this that my five-year-old nephew will often say to me in animated voices, "There's some litter, uncle, let’s go and pick it up!"
It may seem strange, but I actually enjoy it. I pick up litter in parks, on sidewalks, practically anywhere. Once I even saw a complete stranger picking up litter close to where we live. He smiled at me and said, "I see you doing it, and it seems like a good idea."
Picking up litter is only one of an endless supply of possible helping rituals. You might like holding a door open for people, visiting lonely elderly people in nursing homes, or shoveling snow off someone else's driveway. Think of something that seems effortless yet helpful. It's funny, personally rewarding, and can be a good example. And everyone benefits.

Be grateful to life instead of complaining
In our daily life, some people like to keep complaining when they encountered something a little bit unhappy, as if the whole world has abandoned them. You might hear some complaint such as “why was I born in a poor famiy? ”“That traffic here really sucks!”” The food is terrible!” they complain not only about the people but also about different situation to show their dissatisfaction.
Why people usually complain? People complain because they feel life is unfair, they are treated unfairly, they have no opportunity to show their talent. When people get into trouble and have no idea how to solve the problem, they will complain. When they see others have something they don’t have, they envy them they’re jealous and they complain.
There is a poor man, he saw many people wearing beautiful shoes, he also want to buy them, but he is too poor to afford them. so he was very upset, every day he complain about god that why not let him become a rich person. He nearly complained all the time until one day he saw a disable man who lost his legs. We usually think that we are the most miserable one in the world when we fail to do something, but there’s always someone who is more miserable than us. Before we complain about our life, ask ourselves, does it really seriously bad? The poor man should be grateful to life for he at least has a healthy body.

The rain had stayed for several days, some people complain, because it delayed their trip, some people are happy, because it lifted the drought. Everything has a good side and a bad side. when unpleasant things happened, do not only to see it bring us the trouble, but to see it in different point of views.
If you hear your parents’ nagging, be grateful instead of complaining, for you still have parents to love, to respect, to fulfill your duty as children.
If you have to get up early every morning to work and seldom have time to relive, be grateful instead of complaining, for you still have a job to support yourself, to prove your value.
If you have no car to travel, be grateful instead of complaining, for you are healthy, you still can go anywhere on your own feet.
Life is like a mirror, you simile to it, it also smile to you, you cry, it also cried. More appreciation, less complaint, so that you can enjoy your life.
