为了切实做好我校2015届本科毕业生推荐免试攻读研究生(下称推免生)工作,根据《教育部办公厅关于进一步完善推荐优秀应届本科毕业生免试攻读研究生工作办法的通知》(教学厅〔2014〕5号)和《关于下达2015年推荐优秀应届本科毕业生免试攻读研究生工作的通知》(教学司〔2014〕号)的精神,结合《华中科技大学推荐优秀应届本科毕业生免试攻读硕士学位和直接攻读博士学位研究生管理办法(试行)》(校教〔2012〕37号)和《华中科技大学推荐本科生免试攻读硕士和直接攻读博士学位研究生奖励细则》(校教〔2011〕40号)的相关规定,学校推免工作领导小组讨论确定了推免工作原则,并制定了我校2015届本科毕业生推免工作方案,现将有关事项通知如下,请各院(系)和相关单位遵照执行。

一、推免生工作基本原则

1.程序规范原则。所有推荐单位均应根据国家和学校的相关政策,制订本单位科学、规范、明确的推荐标准及严格的工作程序。

2.集体决策原则。各院(系)必须成立推免工作领导小组,凡涉及推免生工作原则和具体方案及推免生名单等事项都应集体议事、集体决策。

3.自主报考原则。各院(系)推免生名额不得自行设置留校限额,不得区分学术学位和专业学位;推荐单位要充分尊重并维护考生自主选择志愿的权利。

4.强化考评原则。各院(系)应保证推免生质量,择优推荐,加强对学生的能力考察和综合评价。

5.信息公开原则。各推荐单位要做好推免生名额、推荐办法、推免生名单、咨询申诉渠道等推免招生重要信息的公开、公示工作。

二、推免生指标分配原则

1.严格按照教育部相关文件以及学校推免工作领导小组制定的工作方案,对教育部下达我校的推免生指标进行公平、公正分配至2015届本科毕业生所在的院(系)。

2.适度提高推免生面上指标分配比例,用于面上分配的指标不低于教育部下达我校指标数的70%,面上指标依据应届本科毕业生数按比例分配到院(系)。

3.经教育部确定的理科人才培养基地及各类实验班、卓越工程师班推免生名额,按学生人数的40%确定。

4.对2014年学校本科专业评估的优秀和良好专业、教育部一级学科评估排名前10%的优秀学科,适当增加推免生指标。

5.在保障学生自主报考,维护学生自主选择自愿的权力的前提下,考虑学校学科发展与学生发展的统一性,通过分析近年我校跨院系跨学科推免数据,将原来分配到国家实验室、创新研究院、强磁场中心等单位的特殊类别推免指标,按照近年推免生实际去向的比例及今年的计划安排,直接分配至相关院(系)。

6.研究生支教团、2+2或2+3辅导员、大学生志愿服务西部计划志愿者、艺术特长生和高水平运动员等类学生推免生名额由学校单独分配到相关单位。

7.学校不留任何机动指标,所有指标一次分配到院(系),分配到院(系)的指标,可以打通使用。

8.适度减少破格推免指标,破格申请推免生的申请资料,院(系)审核后,由校级专家组评审,统一评审认定。

9.参照(不低于)国家下达给我校的推免生指标的总比例,依据医科2015届本科毕业生数将医科推免生指标下拨医学院,由医学院参照学校的基本原则,自行制定指标分配方案和工作流程。

三、推免生推荐条件

1.我校全日制普通本科应届毕业生;

2.品行端正,无任何违法违纪处分记录;

3.加权平均成绩居本年级或专业排名的前50%,通过国家大学外语四级考试;

4.修读本专业核心课程无不及格记录。

四、破格推免生推荐条件

1.满足上面一般推免生推荐条件的1、2、4条;

2.加权平均成绩居本年级或专业排名的前50%。

五、推免生工作流程

1.各院(系)成立推免生工作领导小组,制订本院(系)推免生推荐管理办法(9月5日前);

华中科技大学新生入学英语分级考试全真模拟

为了贯彻教育部《大学英语课程教学要求》,充分调动学生英语学习的主动性和潜在能

力,进一步提高教学质量,在总结大学英语教学改革经验的基础上,我校本科生大学英语将

继续实施学分制分层次教学模式。现将该模式的主要内容和要求描述、说明如下:

1.三个层次的划分:

技大学大学英语分级考试大纲”。本大纲可从华中科技大学外国语学院主页下载,网址为:

http://fld.hust.edu.cn/)。根据分级考试成绩,大学外语系具体确定各层次学生名单。

2.教学目标:

(1)层次一:学生通过两学年的基础英语学习,要求英语水平达到教育部《大学英语课程

When we think of green buildings, we tend to think of new ones – the kind of

You never see him, but they're with you every time you fly. They record where

you are going,how fast you're traveling and whether everything on your airplane is

functioning normally. Their ability to withstand almost any disaster makes them seem

like something out of a comic book.They're known as the black box.

When planes fall from the sky, as a Yemeni airliner did on its way to Comoros

Islands in the India ocean June 30, 2009, the black box is the best bet for identifying

what went wrong. So when a French submarine (潜水艇) detected the device's homing

signal five days later, the discovery marked a huge step toward determining the cause

of a tragedy in which 152 passengers were killed.

In 1958, Australian scientist David Warren developed a flight-memory recorder

that would track basic information like altitude and direction. That was the first

mode for a black box, which became a requirement on all U.S. commercial flights by

1960. Early models often failed to withstand crashes, however, so in 1965 the device

was completely redesigned and moved to the rear of the plane – the area least subject

to impact – from its original position in the landing wells (起落架舱). The same

year, the Federal Aviation Authority required that the boxes, which were never

actually black, be painted orange or yellow to aid visibility.

Modern airplanes have two black boxes: a voice recorder, which tracks pilots'

conversations,and a flight-data recorder, which monitors fuel levels, engine noises

and other operating functions that help investigators reconstruct the aircraft's final moments. Placed in an insulated (隔绝的) case and surrounded by a quarter-inch-thick panels of stainless steel, the boxes can withstand massive force and temperatures up to 2,000℉. When submerged, they're also able to emit signals from depths of 20,000 ft. Experts believe the boxes from Air France Flight 447, which crashed near Brazil on June 1,2009, are in water nearly that deep, but statistics say they're still likely to turn up. In the approximately 20 deep-sea crashes over the past 30 years, only one plane's black boxes were never recovered.

Passage Two Questions 41 to 45 are based on the following passage.

The $11 billion self-help industry is built on the idea that you should turn negative thoughts like "I never do anything right" into positive ones like "I can succeed." But was positive thinking advocate Norman Vincent Peale right? Is there power in positive thinking?

Researchers in Canada just published a study in the journal Psychological Science that says trying to get people to think more positively can actually have the opposite effect: it can simply highlight how unhappy they are.

The study's authors, Joanne Wood and John Lee of the University of Waterloo and Elaine Perunovic of the University of New Brunswick, begin by citing older research

showing that when people get feedback which they believe is overly positive, they actually feel worse, not better. If you tell your dim friend that he has the potential of an Einstein, you're just underlining his faults. In one 1990s experiment, a team including psychologist Joel Cooper of Princeton asked participants to write essays opposing funding for the disabled. When the essayists were later praised for their sympathy, they felt even worse about what they had written.

In this experiment, Wood, Lee and Perunovic measured 68 students' self-esteem. The participants were then asked to write down their thoughts and feelings for four minutes. Every 15 seconds, one group of students heard a bell. When it rang, they were supposed to tell themselves, "I am lovable."

Those with low self-esteem didn't feel better after the forced self-affirmation. In fact, their moods turned significantly darker than those of members of the control group, who weren't urged to think positive thoughts.

The paper provides support for newer forms of psychotherapy (心理治疗) that urge people to accept their negative thoughts and feelings rather than fight them. In the fighting, we not only often fail but can make things worse. Meditation (静思) techniques, in contrast, can teach people to put their shortcomings into a larger, more realistic perspective. Call it the power of negative thinking.
